The MobilityWorks Foundation is a non-profit organization, which provides handicap accessible transportation to those in need. Whether one needs a lift installed in his mini-van, hand controls installed in her pick-up truck, or a new vehicle altogether, the MobilityWorks Foundation would like to help.
The MobilityWorks Foundation is a non-profit organization that will provide financial assistance and or equipment to selected individuals requiring adaptive vehicles or driving aids. The Foundation's goal is to make the world accessible for physically challenged individuals and families. The Foundation will provide financial assistance and or equipment to selected, qualified applicants requiring adaptive vehicles or driving aids. Its funding comes from four sources:
• Direct Donations
• Cars for Troops Visit CarsforTroops.com for details
• Fund-raising
• Sponsorship
• Opportunities Grants
Many Individuals and families require financial assistance with adaptive transportation equipment.
According to MobilityWorks, 50% of individuals looking to purchase adaptive transportation lack financial assistance. The MobilityWorks Foundation will assist in providing accessible transportation to selected, qualified applicants.
